DevTools: blob url remains present in sources toolbar after revocation

Reported by cristian...@gmail.com, Jul 15 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. create a blob url
2. remove node and revoke url
3. url is removed correctly by chrome://blob-internals/ but it remains present in sources toolbar

What is the expected behavior?
it might be removed also in sources toolbar

What went wrong?
it might be removed also in sources toolbar

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? N/A

Chrome version: 59.0.3071.115 Channel: stable
OS Version:
Flash Version:

Anyway i add a suggestion (maybe for w3c): it is possible to remove revocation phase and add a algorithm similar to a gargage collector(checking references in dom and in js variables) also for blobs .Programmable revocation is a operation not easy in a complex GUI and add useless code for adding a block code you can put inside the browser.

It is not necessary to write complex logic for reproduce the bug. It happens in any case.
You have to write 2 code lines , one for importing a image (for example), one for revoking.

Components: -Blink>FileAPI Platform>DevTools
Repro:

1. Load attached file
2. Open DevTools > Sources, expand '(no domain)'. Observe 'blob:...' URL
3. Click 'Revoke' button

I have no idea what a desirable UX would be here.

Thanks for the repro! Indicating which sources are revoked needs some UX work.
Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
We don't have an event in devtools when blob URLs are revoked; thus the Sources/Application panels are not updated.

Closing as WontFix due to lack priority / resources.
