We don't support RHEL7, please find details of supported OS from here : https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95346?hl=en&visit_id=1-636359128034945287-3827389775&rd=1

thomasanderson@ please correct me if I am wrong.
What about RHEL6?
Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
Sorry, we don't officially support any release of RHEL. You'll have to stay at version 58 -- probably by installing your distro's chromium package.
Could you please send steps for Chrome 58 installation on RHEL6
Cc: timbrown@chromium.org
Your distro may provide a chromium package that you can install. If it does not, then you'll have to manually download a chrome 58.0.3029.110-1 RPM package (for example, from [1]) and install it.

Please verify that the sha256 sum is 91310323c2e4055a92055dc70f42cff07c34c378a63c5342a37bc22af26e722e to make sure it was the one released by Google.

I found a page[1] which has a script which will install Google Chrome 58 (and it's dependencies) on RHEL 6. However, as noted on the page, you will be stuck on 58 with known security vulnerabilities (there were 30 security bugs fixed in 59 alone).

Unless RedHat decides to maintain a custom fork of Chromium which uses GTK+2 instead of GTK+3, I don't think you'll be able to use a recent version of Chromium either.
