Chromebook will not resume from docked mode after going idle

Reported by pere...@solaskolen.net, Jul 14 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version : 59.0.3071.113
OS Version: 9460.67.0
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Safari 5:
  Firefox 4.x:
     IE 7/8/9:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I have a Lenovo N23 Yoga Chromebook and a Satechi USB-C docking with HDMI, ethernet and USB 3.0 outputs. Connecting the docking to USB-C with lid open work very well. Display is on local screen as well on external screen.
2.Closing the lid on the chromebook works fine and the display is just on the external screen.
3.After apx. 10 minutes witout use the chromebook gets idle and turn off the screen. It is not possible to activate chromebook again from external mouse/keyboard connected to the USB-C docking. Opening the lid gives a display only on the local screen. I have to disconnect and re-connect USB docking and then close the lid to get the picture back on the external display again.

What is the expected result?
Should be possible to activate chromebook after going idle in docking mode just by hitting the mouse or keyboard. I also miss the oportunity to start the chromebook from idle or from power off by hitting the on/of button without opening the CBs lid.

What happens instead of that?
No display on external monitor and not possible to wake up after CB going to sleep after 10 mins idle. Not possible to turn on the CB directly in docked mode by hitting on/of button with lid closed.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

I am sorry. Please delete this bug report as I see I have entered in the system for chromium browser, not the one for chrome OS.
