Tested the issue using #59.0.3071.115 on Windows 7. Issue is inconsistently reproducible as per the steps mentioned in comment #0. Unable to provide the bisect information as issue is not reproducible consistently. @phistuck: Could you please help us with the some other Repro case to provide the bisect information. Thanks!!

Still reproducible in Chrome 60.

sandeepkumars@, if you can reproduce occasionally but not enough to bisect, can you perhaps check to see you can reproduce it on Linux? Linux and Windows share a bunch of the same window-drawing code, so it can/cannot be reproduce there, that might narrow down the part of the code stack it's in.

Tested the issue using #58.0.3029.110 #59.0.3071.115, #60.0.3112.90 and #62.0.3176.0 on Win 10, Win 7 and was unable to reprodcue the issue on both desktop and laptop as per the steps mentioned in original comment. Have tried reproducing the issue using older builds [M45, M50, M55] also but no luck in reprodcuing the isse. @mpearson: Please find the screen cast and let us know if we missed any steps from our end. Removing Bisect label as we are not able to reprodcue the issue from our end. Please add it back if required. Thanks!!

sandeepkumars@, I'm confused. In comment #7 you say you cannot reproduce, yet in comment #3, you said you could (at least some of the time). Are you saying that - comment #3 was in error (you never did reproduce at all) or - is comment #7 simply saying that it's so inconsistent that on your latest attempts you failed ? thanks!

This might be fixed? I can't repro similar to #7 but am on Win10 Rob has a Win7 VM and can check quick.

Rob checked both the new refreshed UI and the legacy one on Win7 and couldn't repro either. I think we can close given those and #8? Though unfortunate the video couldn't run into it since the versions overlapped at that time. Analytically - all the size calculations changed significantly in M69 so the relevant codepath may no longer be there vs. a year ago? Still, please reopen if this repro's.

I cannot remember for sure if I saw it in the canary build recently, but I think I have. I will try to remember to reopen if I see it once Chrome 69 goes stable. |
