Chrome hangs after pasting specific data to DevTool

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Press F12 to Open DevTools 2. Type: a = []; a[1] = 1; a[0] = a; 3. Then type a[0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0] 4. Copy [0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0][0] 5. Hold pasting content from step no.4 for few seconds What is the expected behavior? No hang! What went wrong? Chrome completely hangs Did this work before? Thanks for the report. I'm not able to reproduce the hang on a Windows or Linux machine with 32+ GB of memory. I have a couple questions: - Does Chrome hang only after you press 'Enter' to evaluate in the Console? Or does it stop responding while pasting? - Does this happen for any long text in the Console? e.g. would pasting "www..." x 1000 over and over cause a hang? - Does Chrome hang when you console.log a lot of text? e.g. https://jsfiddle.net/cgryq3gu/ - Could you please try checking your steps on Chrome Canary?
