Regression: Chrome crashes when clicked on sign in to chrome on settings page using proxy |

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 60.0.3112.66 OS: Ubuntu 14.04, win 7 Prerequisite:Enable proxy What steps will reproduce the problem? One of our external partner saw the same issue when enabling proxy and blocked by this. Can we fix or revert this quickly? A workaround is also ok.

I cannot reproduce this bug with a proxy that does not require authentication. To debug, I need a proxy that requires a proxy with http authentication. divya.padigela@techmahindra.com: Does your proxy require HTTP authentication? Is this proxy something public that I could use when reproducing this crash?

I managed to reproduce the crash and it is the root cause is the same as in issue 629529. I am marking this bug as duplicate. |
