The ARC-specific crash has been fixed in the last week. The kernel crash is unrelated.
Issue 780338 has been merged into this issue.
Is there any update on this bug? is this bug still relevant?
Status: WontFix (was: Available)
If the kernel crash still happens let us file another bug.
