Long dark line is seen under omnibox when user open a new tab.

Issue description

App Version: 61.0.3152.0
iOS Version: 11.0 beta 3 , 10.2.1
Device: iPad Mini

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch Chrome.
2.Open an incognito tab.
2.Now switch from incognito tab to normal tab and open a new tab from tab switcher mode.

Observed results:
Long line is seen under omnibox.


Expected results:
Long line should not be under omnibox.


Number of times you were able to reproduce: 5/5
Bug reproducible after clean install: Yes
Bug reproducible after clearing cache and cookies: Yes
Bug reproducible on Chrome Mobile on Android: Not tested
Bug reproducible on Safari/Firefox: Firefox: NA, Safari: NA
Bug reproducible on current stable build (App Version, iOS Version): Yes on M59
Bug reproducible on the current beta channel build (App Version, iOS Version): Yes on M60

It looks as if the progress bar is rendered in grey.

I am able to repro this on iPhone too, 

1. Fresh Install and launch chrome, open a ntp
2. Tap on tab switcher.
3. Exit Tap on tab switcher.


Observed results:
Line seen for a few secs when exiting a tab switcher mode.
