"Press App button to exit" overlay is not always shown |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 61.0.3153.0 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Enter WebVR presentation from the 2D browser. (2) Enter WebVR presentation from the VR browser. (3) Enter WebVR presentation from an auto-presenting intent. (4) Enter WebVR presentation from CCT. What is the expected result? For (1)-(3), one might expect the "Press App button to exit" overlay to be shown. With the VR browser enabled by default, the App button will always exit presentation to the VR browser. The behavior of (4) is TBD. What happens instead? The "Press App button to exit" overlay is only shown for (2). Please use labels and text to provide additional information. We need to decide when to show the "Press App button to exit" overlay and whether to make the string more precise, such as telling them where they will exit to. In the case of (2), this probably isn't necessary as it is the same place the user came from.

Correction: the above comment applies to (3), entering WebVR presentation from an auto-presenting intent.

This is done now I believe. Claiming to verify.

Have you verified Chris? :P I think this is fixed.

Yes, it is. (1) and (2) both now show the transient "Press App button to exit" toast (as of testing 30 seconds ago). |
