User escapes any advertisement while watching the video in YouTube

Introduction:  I was searching for the ways how any of the add from YouTube while watching the videos could be escaped. Here is my finding:

Bug Summary: If we want to skip any add which are coming after one video is completed and another is starting, user can do it easily by watching the video in expanded form and as soon as the video starts click on the 'Escape' button and the add will not be displayed. The next video start immediately

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Select the video to play
(2) Expand the screen size just before the video is about to be over
(3) As the  video ends and advertisement starts, click on the  'Escape' button


What is the expected result? 

The add should be played even if the screen is not expanded


What happens instead?

Advertisement gets skipped and user can continue watching next video.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-10, mac 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version #59.0.3071.115, latest stable #61.0.3163.91 but able to reproduce the issue in latest canary #63.0.3219.0 as the add appears every time on expanding the screen size when the video is about to be over.

Whereas in other chrome versions as mentioned above apart from latest canary, the add doesn't appear on expanding the screen size when the video is about to be over and the next video continues. Hence, the repro is very inconsistent. Attached a screen cast for reference.

suwarna.choudhary99@ - Could you please check the issue on latest stable #61.0.3163.91 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not.
Also if possible please provide any other URL where add appears every time on expanding the screen size.

Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
As there is no action on this issue for long time closing this issue. Request you to update your Chrome to latest #66.0.3359.181 and verify. Feel free to file a new issue if the issue is still reproduced at your end.
