Android phone Exchange app no longer sends/recieves gmail on phone.

Reported by chrisdh2...@gmail.com, Jul 7 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. uninstalled gmail account then reinstalled
2. cleared cache
3.

What is the expected behavior?
will send and recieve emails.

What went wrong?
Tried to send a picture to myself one day and kept it in the queue indefinitely and then kept all the emails in queue instead of sending, even after I deleted the emails with the pictures in them.

Did this work before? No

Chrome version: 59.0.3071.115 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.2 (Windows 8)
Flash Version:

I know this is a phone issue but it is still a Google Chrome issue and happened at the same time my Google Chrome Desktop started having black boxes show up all over (something i opened a separate issue for).

Thank you for reporting this issue.

Are you using Google Chrome app to open https://gmail.com, or are you using the Gmail app, or are you using a third-party app (you mention "Exchange app" in the title)? What is the "queue"? I did not find such a thing when opening https://gmail.com with the Google Chrome app on my Android phone.
On the phone it is the gmail app but when you go to add the account - you add it under the google app - which would be chrome. By Queue, I mean in the sent box it says queued but it never sends. It has been working intermittently since i uninstalled and reinstalled but still will not send pictures - that can be sent using the gmail from the NON-google email app. as well, the same pictures can be sent via texting.

P.S. The exchange is one of the account types in the google chrome email add account options. I chose this because it was how it was set up before and syncs with my google calendar.

Thank you for clarifying. Unfortunately it sounds like an issue with the Gmail app, not with Google Chrome. Could you please report the issue from the Gmail app itself? Open Menu by tapping on the icon in the top left corner, the select the last menu item: "Help and feedback". Thanks.
Yes, thanks.
