Unzip extremely slower than manually dragging files out

Issue description
Chrome Version : 59.0.3071.91
OS Version: 9460.60.1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download & Mount a zip of 50 original sized photos
2. Try to drag the whole content out to Downloads
What is the expected result?
The files appear shortly after
What happens instead of that?
The system drags and appears to hang after three photos

possible.

When dragging the files out in sets of 10, the files a copied very quickly and this is a workaround.

Postpone until launch of zip archiver to confirm.

I couldn't repro this on M70 on any of the zip unpackers. The unpacking did slow down if I scrolled in the zip file, due to thumbnail generation, but there was no freeze. I used an archive of ~160 original photos captured on an iPhone and uploaded to google photos. |
