What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)  navigate to http://shop.nordstrom.com/
(2)  focus on Search tab
(3)  try to enter "xyz"


What is the expected result?
The input field shouldn't be exited until committing the input

What happens instead?
The search input field is closed after entering the first character,"x".

Able to reproduce it in Chrome 59.0.3071.113/CrOS 9460.67.0 - Reks

Unable to reproduce the issue on 60.0.3112.50 - Ubuntu 14.04.5
