Issue description
For a couple of services I use this was a breaking change and I've had to switch to using Safari which at least warns of possible phishing with the option to proceed anyway. Please reinstate the previous behavior or, at the minimum, provide an alert like Safari does.

Mark, can you give a little more detail about the services this change broke for you? Generally speaking, the usage numbers we saw were low, but if we missed something bug, it'd be great to know about it.
