I'm able to reproduce this on Windows and Linux as well. I'm only able to reproduce it, however, on https://in.bookmyshow.com/hyderabad and only using the bookmyshow logo in the upper left corner of the page. Every other page I've tried and even other links on that page don't produce the issue. There's something specific about how navigation is being executed via a click on that logo that's related to the issue. Some event handler, perhaps?

I can repro on Windows 67.0.3396.99, but *not* 69.0.3486.0 - I think it's been fixed in the meantime, so marking WontFix. Simplest repro steps I could find on 67 Windows: 1) open a window to https://in.bookmyshow.com/hyderabad 2) type some stuff in omnibox and click out to lose focus and dismiss [what you typed is still in the omnibox] 3) click the book my show logo Interesting facts about the page in case this repros on other pages: -I removed all event listeners on the page via devtools and this still reproed on 67. -The <a> is an SVG inside the logo. However, replacing the <svg> with some basic text still reproed the bug -Having developer tools opens seems to prevent the issue? |
