enhancement request: responsive UI for mp3/media player

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.109 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
On laoptop or larger screen, the media player is really small (attached). This makes seeking very hard, especially on large files
1. go to http://traffic.libsyn.com/patflynn/270_SPI_270__What_You_Need_to_Know_Before_You__Get_Physical__with_Richie_Norton.mp3

What is the expected behavior?
Larger UI, especially seek bar

What went wrong?
inteface is too small

Did this work before? No

Able to reproduce this issue on Mac 10.12.5, Win-10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome stable version #59.0.3071.115 and latest canary #61.0.3152.0.

This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M45 old builds. 

Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team.

I think there are two parts of this issue:
1. it might get better with the redesign of the controls
2. we might want to have a larger surface for the audio controls regardless

I would recommend to wait for #1 to decide about #2 as the ideal size would be different.

(for background, when a media file is opened directly, Chrome shows a "media document" so we can control the size of the controls)

For everyone having issues.

Inspect Element.
Select Video Tag.
Add 'style="width:100%"'
Now you have usable UI.
