Regression : Pdf page doesn't load properly after selecting 'Kindle Fire HDX' device in devtools.

Issue descriptionVersion: 61.0.3150.0 e32c608bfaee28eb9bd478073a2f222fb6c28133-refs/heads/master@{#484424} OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS) URL : http://che.org.il/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/pdf-sample.pdf What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch chrome, navigate to above url and open devtools and open emulated view. 2. Now click on 'Responsive' drop down list and click on 'Edit' button and select 'Kindle Fire HDX' device from Emulated device list. 3. Now again click on 'Responsive' drop down list and click on 'Kindle Fire HDX' device and observe Pdf page Actual: Pdf page doesn't load properly after selecting 'Kindle Fire HDX' device Expected: Pdf page should be seen properly after selecting 'Kindle Fire HDX' device This is regression issue, broken in ‘M 61’ and will soon update other info : Good build:61.0.3149.0 Bad build: 61.0.3150.0 Note : Issue is not seen on Mac OS.

Thank you for the report, it looks like my CL did introduce a bug affecting the 'Kindle Fire HDX' preset. The core issue appears before my commit, as the 'iPad' and 'iPad Mini' presets appear to have had this issue as well, on 59.0.3071.115. My guess is that DevTools is not accounting for an edge case for certain device resolutions. I need to investigate. For developers, a current workaround is to use the dropdown and switch to another device preset, then switch back to 'Kindle Fire HDX', and it will look as expected.

Emulating PDF viewer is not supported. There is no pdf viewer in mobile web. |
