Firmware crashes on input stream being opened

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Attempt to record audio through arecord

What is the expected result?
arecord will begin recording audio

What happens instead?
DSP firmware crashes (check dmesg)

Going to pull up firmware and see if dev branch fixes this bug.

Potential won't fix as this was on the 0.9.5 firmware
