Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.40 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: There are scenarios when one user assists other user by manipulating his mouse and keyboard. There are various apps which allows remote control for this purposes. Unfortunately there is no enough API to create such things with WebRTC. What is the expected behavior? Web page should have a special permission to control host mouse and keyboard. Once user allows this to webpage JS script is able to simulate mouse and keyboard events on this host. What went wrong? n/a Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version:

This seems to be a feature request. Hence, marking it as untriaged for further investigation. Thanks...!!

Since this is a request for a new API, I think the right place for this request is the relevant W3C working group, so that an API can be defined for all browsers to implement. A good place to start would be https://www.w3.org/2011/04/webrtc/ Closing this bug as WontFix since this is not the right forum for Web Platform API proposals. Once a spec is in place we can file a bug about implementing it in Chromium. |
