Unable to reproduce this issue on Windows-10 using chrome latest stable #59.0.3071.115.
Tried opening the site https://dev.twitter.com/web/embedded-tweets which has few embedded tweets observed issues in rendering the text.

berenger.lieber@ Could you please confirm on which chrome version you are facing this issue? If you are using older version of chrome #55.0.2883.87 please upgrade to latest stable #59.0.3071.115 and recheck for this issue by creating a new profile under chrome://settings.

Thanks!
Yes I have the latest stable version. I tried in private browsing with no addon and it doesn't work, but when I try with a test blank profile, everything is fine.

That is really weird since it occurred overnight. Is my user profile corrupted or something?

I have to dig and find out which element causes that rendering problem.

Anyway, thanks for your help!

Thanks for the response.

Your profile may be enabling some experiments that affect rendering, or you might have some non-standard features enabled. Maybe compare chrome://flags in a profile that is working and one that is not?

I'll leave the bug open while you look into reproducing it.
I do have some flags and experiments enabled, but thing is that the bug happened out of the blue. Was working fine and one day later rendering is broken.

And it is strange that other users I know are also reporting this issue and none of them tweaked the browser or changed habits.

I'll try my best to find out what is wrong. Might be a larger issue because my friend told me Vivaldi encounter the same problem. Vivaldi is Chromium based, so it may not be just me and my modifications.

Did any of your fonts change? I know that might be really hard to answer.

We seem to be painting characters are 4x4 blocks of pixels, or something.

Any additional reproduction steps or pointers to the cause would be most helpful. Thanks for working with us to reproduce.
Hmm I install new fonts randomly when I need to do some specific work in editing software. Anyway, I really can't find what changed to cause this issue. As I am using dozen of addons and scripts, it is complicated to tell if the bug is related to my modifications or happened with an update of the core. Might just migrate my profile to a new one, sorry if it doesn't help.

Nobody reported that? I'll try to ask all the people I know if it's still occurring on their side. Thanks for looking into that matter.

Hello, just a quick message to inform you that now the rendering works fine. On some websites (https pages) it's just a problem of cross security, browser asks to load external scripts from non verified ressources.

Sooo, I don't know what happened, but now it seems to be fixed (random issue?)
