Thanks for the report! This means some buggy networking software or device is interfering with an upcoming performance and security improvement to Chrome. To help diagnose this, could you attach a NetLog per these instructions? Thanks! https://dev.chromium.org/for-testers/providing-network-details Also, what kind of network is this (home? work?). Do you have any antivirus, firewall, proxy, or other networking middleware products configured? If so, do you know which they are?

This issue looks similar to issu#735028, but please don't merge the bugs. Since we need to deal these bugs case by case basis.

jpiche: You probably got rolled into a different experiment group on browser restart. There is likely still an issue with something on your network we need to figure out. Could you go to chrome://flags and set "Maximum TLS version" to "TLS 1.3" and "Experimental QUIC protocol" to "Disabled" and see if it still happens? If so, could you see about getting the information requested? Thanks!

Indeed, when I change the settings like requested, the error comes back. >> Also, what kind of network is this (home? work?). Do you have any antivirus, firewall, proxy, or other networking middleware products configured? If so, do you know which they are?" It's a corporate/work network in which I have no visibility. We do have Symantec Endpoint Protection, and I tried both with and without our proxy, same problem.

Hrm, that's a new one. Could you get a NetLog of it happening per these instructions? Thanks! https://dev.chromium.org/for-testers/providing-network-details

jpiche@, can you provide the NetLog mentioned in comment #8?

We're running some alternative experiments in M61 to better understand these bugs. If you still experience problems in M61, please re-file a bug (with a net internals log as requested). |
