Issue descriptionChrome Version: 61.0.3148.0 (Official Build)(cohort: Stable)155b257ae4cf8873f8561ec6a00c61ebec47548a-refs/heads/master@{#484021} (32/64-bit). OS: Windows(7,8,10), Linux(14.04 LTS). Steps to reproduce: 1) Launch chrome, open NTP, give print command. 2) Enter text in Pages textbox and quickly click on Layout drop down and observe. Actual Result: Black patch is seen. Expected Result: Black patch should not be seen. This is non-regression issue seen in M-50 from #50.0.2626.0. Note: Issue is not seen on MAC.

Able to reproduce the issue on latest Canary #61.0.3148.0.Making the status to Untriaged so that the issue would get addressed. Thank you.

The same effect occurs if you click other dropdowns (e.g. Color) before the animation for the error message has completed after entering a bad value in "Pages". Entering a bad value in "Copies" and then clicking a dropdown before the error message shows up does something similar as well. The basic problem seems to be that there are errors if a dropdown is expanded while everything is getting shifted to make room for an error message.
