"echidna", "apnoea", etc marked as spelling error |
|||
Issue descriptionThe word "echidna" is not marked as a spelling error on Linux but it is on Windows. (Not marked on Mac either but there we are using OS's dictionary I guess.) Happens with en-AU or en-US spell checking. Maybe others. Please see attached screen capture of cute animal names.

Here's another one: apnea apnoea both are marked as spelling errors. This happens on Windows & Linux. And echidna is also marked as a spelling error on Linux, not just Windows -- correcting the bug title.

From an internal report (b/73053323) "Google Chrome's dictionary is not very extensive. I always add words to the personal dictionary but some of them are really well-known widely used words, e.g. impactful, parallelized, verifier, actioned, approvers, scalable, rollout, deprioritized."
