How to change year on date picker not obvious

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. click on <input type="date"> field 2. date picker appears 3. click on the month/year with the dropdown 3. how to change the year is not obvious What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? When looking at the year view (listing the months for that year) 1. I don't think it's particularly obvious that we can scroll up and down to change the years. 2. Should the left and right arrows change the years? Currently, it takes me back to the month view (with the individual dates) which I think is a bit confusing. Did this work before? Tested the issue on Mac Os 10.12.5 , ubuntu 14.04 and windows 7 using chrome M59 #59.0.3071.115 and M61 #61.0.3150.0 and issue is reproduced. Issue is seen from M45 #45.0.2404.0 and is a non-regression issue. Marking it as untraiged for further inputs on this. Thanks!

I am also experiencing this issue. We have infact written help text to our users who run into this problem. "Click the date field and press CTRL+SHIFT+1 to view the selection box in the Calendar. Use the TAB key to move the selection box within the Calendar and press ENTER to select a date." This only works if the person reads the help text and does not help a mobile android user. |
