In the recent version, I don't see a way to disable the guest user, in settings, like before.

Reported by ckbro...@gmail.com, Jul 4 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.
2.
3.

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
I have supervised users setup, and I want to exit and child lock, my user account, so that only the supervised user has access to the internet, but the guest user is still available for anyone to user, to access the internet. I just want to disable the guest user, like I could before in the previous version, by un-checking the box in settings.

Did this work before? Yes I think version 58.??

Chrome version: 59.0.3071.115 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

@ckbrowse: To disable the guest user browsing, you need go to chrome://flags and disable the "Enable Material Design settings" flag. Then you will be redirected to old UI of settings, from there you can disable the guest browsing.

I hope that may resolve your problem. Please let us know the update.

Thanks!!

Not to resurrect a dead thread, but this solution does not work any more. Regrettably, this was a simple stop gap because flags are rotated out or become obsolete, not a real solution.
