Chrome desktopCapture Issue with macOS High Sierra Version 10.13 Beta

Reported by ad...@popinmobile.com, Jul 3 2017

Issue description

OS Version : macOS High Sierra Version 10.13 Beta (17A291)
Chrome Version : 59.0.3071.115 (Official Build) (64-bit)
URLs (if applicable) : n/a
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari: n/a
    Firefox: n/a
         IE: n/a

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) On a MacBook Air running macOS High Sierra Version 10.13 Beta (17A291) open Chrome.
(2) Use Chrome Extension to access Chrome Desktop Capture. (chrome.desktopCapture.chooseDesktopMedia)
(3) Select a screen or window.
(4) Once screen is shared, click the "Stop Sharing" button on the "Screen Capturing is sharing your screen... [Stop Sharing] [Hide]" status bar.
(5) The "Stop Sharing" bar will still be visible, even though the local screen sharing has stopped. So you can still see the "Screen Capturing is sharing your screen... [Stop Sharing] [Hide]" status bar.

What is the expected result?
This "Stop Sharing Status Bar" should go away when the "Stop Sharing" button is pressed.

What happens instead?
The "Stop Sharing Status Bar" never goes away, no matter how many times you press "Stop Sharing". The hide button also seems to do nothing.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
When using Chrome on a computer that works as intended the "Stop Sharing Status Bar" goes away when you press the "Stop Sharing" button.

I have tried resetting Chrome settings.
I have tried uninstalling Chrome and reinstalling Chrome.

I was able to resolve the issue by wiping the Mac Beta OS High Sierra and installing the macOS Sierra.

I've included an attachment image to indicate what I mean when I say "Stop Sharing Status Bar".

Unable to test this issue from TE-End since We don't have macOS High Sierra Version 10.13 Beta machine, CC'ing the manoranjanr@ for further triage.

I do not see this issue on Mac OS HighSierra (17A306F) - "MacBook Pro with Retina display, Intel Core i7, 15" (Mid 2012)" for Latest Stable#59.0.3071.115 as well as Latest Canary#61.0.3159.0.

PS: I've used this (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chrome-capture/ggaabchcecdbomdcnbahdfddfikjmphe?hl=en) extension to capture the screen.

admin@, Would it be possible to check this behavior w/ latest HighSierra update (17A306F)?

Thank you!

I starred this issue since I was also able to reproduce this issue last week. However, after updating to High Sierra Beta update 17A306f, I can't reproduce the issue anymore. Stop Sharing bar goes away as expected for me now on Google Chrome Version 60.0.3112.66 (Official Build) beta (64-bit).
abhinajao@, thank you for the confirmation.
This sounds like it was a bug in the macOS release you were using at the time? Can this be closed?
admin@, Marking this issue as 'WontFix' since it's working as expected on Latest HighSierra OS X (17A306f). Please feel free to file a new bug for any further issues with chrome in future.
