Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: I've just been testing some modules cases in Canary, and most things are working great, but I came across a failing circular references case. Replication included below. 1. I've put together a reduced test case at https://github.com/guybedford/chrome-modules-bug. 2. Open test.html in Canary with ES modules against a local server 3. See resolution error in console What is the expected behavior? This is a valid circular reference case that should resolve correctly. What went wrong? There seems to be some kind of internal race condition in the circular reference handling. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 61.0.3147.0 Channel: canary OS Version: OS X 10.12.5 Flash Version:

Thanks for reporting! I couldn't repro this on ToT. I believe this is fixed in https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src.git/+/ec49f96b9874e4e0006805872601ffdbd792fda7 but the commit isn't in the latest Canary yet. Would you retry this in Canary after a few days?

Sure, I'll post a follow up when that's landed.

Just tested on the latest update and it's working perfectly now. Such timing :) Will report if I find anything else at all.
