Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Because it doesn't happen immediately, one would have to use the browser for some time before seeing it. This generally happens after I've had the browser open for a couple of hours using multiple tabs. What is the expected behavior? The copy and paste functionality in the browser should always work. What went wrong? After an indeterminate amount of time, the clipboard functionality stops working in the browser. Copy and pasting text within the browser no longer works. Nor can text or images be copied from the browser to other applications. I first experienced this on Chrome on Windows 10 version 1607 so this isn't an OS specific problem. Did this work before? Yes Previous to the current version. Chrome version: 59.0.3071.115 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0

How long had you been working in the browser? It doesn't happen immediately. As I noted, you have to be working for a couple of hours before it happens. This has happened on a laptop and a desktop running two different operating systems.

Tested this issue using #59.0.3071.115 on Win 10, Mac 10.12.5 and Linux Ubuntu 14.04 and was able to copy and paste the content or files even after waited for 5 long hours. @andrewimutch: Could you please try creating a new profile from chrome://settings with no apps and extensions and check if you still face the issue? Thanks!!

OK. I'm experiencing this again today. However, I noticed that the problem isn't limited to the browser so it appears it may be Windows OS problem. I'll do some additional testing to confirm.

Per C#6, looks to be an issue with Windows OS. andrewimutch@: Could you please confirm if this is not chrome specific and can be closed? Appreciate your response.
