Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Use Chrome Plugin to lookup SRV record What is the expected behavior? SRV record does not exist. Only A records found. What went wrong? Chrome doesn't support fallback SRV lookups per RFC 2782. Primary 'https' routing service cannot be found. Bug ID 22423 opened by someone a year after I considered the utility of tiered and weighted round-robin http traffic. Crashed report ID: How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes 2017 Chrome version: 58.0.3029.110 Channel: canary OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0 I forced my way through the previous bug ticket and the lame redirection to the IETF was froth with inexperience in a non-Google environment. The IETF SPDY draft was written by Google so redirection to them in the face of a 20 minute implementation is deplorable.

You've asked a non-paid employee to write an RFC for your browser. I have a draft spec ready to share if you change the status of this issue and request the data. Otherwise I will open a ticket and include the current references which have nothing to do with your "latest chrome version" which is silly at best. Please refer this issue to your manager for further correspondence. |
