LogDog links from cbuildbot don't work in firefox |
|||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: Firefox 54.0 OS: Goobuntu What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Try to view the stdout of a cbuildbot stage in firefox. (2) Sign in with the link at the top right. What is the expected result? Contents of the log should be displayed. What happens instead? The area where the logs go shows "(Auth Error)" and the console fills up with messages like: 09:29:14.688 Fetch failed with error: Error: Not Authenticated Stack trace: @https://luci-logdog.appspot.com/v/elements/elements.html-29.js:1102:29 @https://luci-logdog.appspot.com/v/elements/elements.html-29.js:1101:2 1 elements.html-29.js:1317:25 Using Chrome is a workaround, but it would be nice to not have to switch browsers when viewing logs.

is this still happening? If you click on the "dogfood viewer" link, does it also happen there?

Yes, this still happens, but the dogfood "plain-text" viewer seems to work fine. Is there any reason for me to not just switch to the new one?

dogfood viewer should be default now (for luci jobs, buildbot will just go away soon)

OK, sounds like we should go ahead and close this then. I'll make sure to use the dogfood viewer when I'm using firefox. |
