Flash player stop rendering content when switching tabs

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Enter full flash site
2. Open one new empty tab
3. Switch tabs a lot of times

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
Site with full flash content stopped rendering its contents (stopped enter frame but catches mouse events normally). Flash player didnt crash and is running on background normally. Just freezed in the frame it was before switching tabs. The content starts rendering again without problem after i resize the browser or after i append an empty div to DOM.

Chrome version: 59.0.3071.115  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0

Thanks for filing the issue, unable to reproduce it on a gaming site (zynga.com). Switched tabs multiple times and was able to play game with out any issues observed. Used chrome version 59.0.3071.115 on Windows 10 OS.

@georget83: Could you help us with the website in which you have observed this issue. This will help us to issue to triage better.

We get a lot of reports also for our games http://www.elvenar.com and http://www.forgeofempires.com

This is also happening for our players at http://www.railnation.de.
Resizing the window usually helps. This never was a problem before the Version 59.0.3071.115 update.

Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
As there is no action on this issue for long time closing this issue. Request you to update your Chrome to latest #66.0.3359.181 and verify. Feel free to file a new issue if the issue is still reproduced at your end.
