SDHC card in reader does not automount

Reported by lib...@gmail.com, Jun 29 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 9460.67.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.113 Safari/537.36
Platform: 9460.67.0 (Official Build) stable-channel link [2013 Pixel]

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Insert SDHC card in card reader slot
2. Card does not mount
3. Put Chromebook to sleep, wake from sleep, card mounts

What is the expected behavior?
SDHC card should automount when inserted. Exactly the same card automounts when inserted in a USB card reader. This happens with every SDHC card I have tried with 100% replicability, whether formatted in a camera, a Mac [FAT-32, or a Chromebook (including Chrome OS recovery SDHC cards). automount.

What went wrong?
This behavior began with Chrome OS 57, and has persisted through 3 production releases.

Did this work before? Yes 56.0.2924.87 (Platform version: 9000.82.0) [February 8, 2017]

This appears to have been fixed with Version 59.0.3071.134 (my report was submitted with Version 59.0.3071.113). Thanks!

I see this issue, but sleep/closed lid isn't enough to force it to see the microsd card. If the card is inserted during boot, it will appear in the Files app. Otherwise, nothing. It shows immediately if I use a USB (usb-A or usb-C) card reader.
