Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.75 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 0. Have a Google account that has Chrome browser syncing setup, as well as having a passphrase set up before syncing of passwords, apps, etc. can be actually be synced to a new computer. 1. Sign in to Chrome with that Google account. 2. Click the red (!) icon next to the name of this user in the upper right of the window. 3. Click the button for entering your passphrase. 4. Begin typing your passphrase. What is the expected behavior? Keyboard focus should be on the passphrase text field. So typed keys should be entering letters in that field. What went wrong? Keyboard focus is on the Omnibox. So entered keys get displayed in the Omnibox where nearby humans can see the password that is typed. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 55.0.2883.75 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.3 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0 Cross-posting of: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=737989# Forgive the duplicate as I learn the culture of this space. |
