Looks like there never was any data for these... +nednguyen@, is this working as intended?

Charlie: the missing data are all power data, can you take a look?

I uh... have no idea. It looks like these benchmarks never produced this data, which given that it's tied to a specific type of response appearing in the trace, it makes sense that not all traces have all metrics. I have no idea why the dashboard would alert on a metric that never had a value for it. (A few of these did have values for a short while - like two data points. Not sure about why that is.) simonhatch@, any idea what's happening here or why these data stoppage alerts happened on test paths that never had data points?

We send data stoppage alerts no matter how few data points there were. So if we only ever got one data point, then we send an alert. I think this is just a bug that we ever sent the data in the first place?

That makes sense for a few of the data stoppages, but some of them (like the attached one) seem to be on series that don't show *any* data in them. Even if I hover over the middle of the graph, no data point is shown, and I'm not able to expand the time window at all (indicating, I think, that there aren't any points that exist outside of the shown window).

If you hover the mouse in the center of the chart, you'll see that there's one data point.

Wow, I didn't realize how close you had to be to the data point in order for the highlight to show up. I was never able to find the data point for https://chromeperf.appspot.com/group_report?keys=agxzfmNocm9tZXBlcmZyrQELEhNTdG9wcGFnZUFsZXJ0UGFyZW50In9DaHJvbWl1bVBlcmYvY2hyb21pdW0tcmVsLW1hYy1yZXRpbmEvc3lzdGVtX2hlYWx0aC5jb21tb25fZGVza3RvcC9tb3VzZXdoZWVsX3Jlc3BvbnNlOmVuZXJneV9zdW0vbG9hZF9uZXdzL2xvYWRfbmV3c19oYWNrZXJuZXdzDAsSDVN0b3BwYWdlQWxlcnQYlOccDA, but downloading a CSV of the data shows that you're definitely right: there's only one data point. Annie's right, though: I'm not sure why any of these reported a value. I've now marked them as "Ignore", and please let me know if you see something like this again. |
