Issue descriptionChrome Version : 58.0.3029.110 URLs (if applicable) : hangouts.google.com OS version : any Behavior in Safari (if applicable): no Behavior in Firefox (if applicable): no This is a widespread problem that I'm seeing in increasing prevalence in the wild. Mics stop working in Google Hangouts for Chrome users on Mac. I think it happens after a java applet crashes in any open tab. This can be resolved by quitting Chrome, relaunching it and re-entering Hangouts. But what a pain!

@Reporter: Could you please provide the crash id from chrome://crashes and sample steps of the issue and if possible,Please create new profile without extensions and apps.Re-check once and let us know the observations which would help us to triage the issue further. Thanks in Advance.
