Issue descriptionChrome Version: 60.0.3112.50 OS:Ubuntu 14.04, Windows Pre-Condition: Enable Material Design bookmarks flags What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://bookmarks/ (2)Add New Bookmark from the 3 dot menu and click on the 3 dot menu, then on copy url (3)Navigate to some other tab and come back and Observe( Refer Video) Expected: Only one focus should be seen Actual:Instead 2 focuses are seen This is a Regression issue seen from M-60 Manual Bisect Info: =================== Good Build:60.0.3090.0 Bad Build: 60.0.3091.0

Able to repoduce the issue on Mac 10.12.5,Ubuntu 14.04 & Windows using latest Canary#61.0.3142.3. Manual Bisect info: ------------------ Good Build:60.0.3090.0-Revision-469538 Bad Build: 60.0.3091.0-Revision-469814 Bisect tool info with old script:(New script will not run for the above revision range) -------------------------------- You are probably looking for a change made after 469591 (known good), but no later than 469594 (first known bad). This is a subtle thing, but at the moment this is working as intended. The blue overlay on the item indicates that it is *selected* but not necessarily *focused*. The grey highlight on the button indicates that it is the focused element. This is all more clear if you only use the keyboard, where the item has a separate focus highlight. We hide the highlight when using the mouse, which makes this specific case more confusing. Closing as WontFix, but we'll keep it in mind to see if there's any way we can make this clearer. |
