[DevTools] Make "Log Level" menu more user-friendly

Reported by kaycebas...@gmail.com, Jun 27 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3142.3 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to DevTools Console.
2. Click "Default Levels".
3. Uncheck "Info".

What is the expected behavior?
The menu stays open, which lets me quickly check / uncheck other values.

What went wrong?
The menu closes, forcing me to re-open it every time I want to check / uncheck other values.

Did this work before? No

Chrome version: 61.0.3142.3 Channel: canary
OS Version: OS X 10.12.5
Flash Version:

Agreed. Multi-select lists don't auto-hide on click normally.

Speaking of user-friendly, it'd be also nice to make the checkmarks visible in devtools dark theme (currently it's black on near black and hence hardly visible unless hovered). For that the icon would need to be svg I guess, not png which is used currently, so that it could be colored via the CSS variables.

Able to reproduce the issue on the latest canary(61.0.3143.0) on Windows-10, Mac OS 10.12.5 and Linux Ubuntu 14.04.

Marking this as Untriaged and as Feature request for more inputs on this.

I believe this is intended. Adding @pfeldman for confirmation.

Google is supposedly not evil so if this user-hostile behavior is intended, it'd be interesting to know why.

We are likely to follow up with another approach to it.
