Floating action bar not dismissed when image opened

Chrome Version: 61.0.3140.0
OS: Android

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open an article with images (e.g. wikipedia articles)
(2) Long click on a word to show the actionbar
(3) Click to open the image

What is the expected result? 
  Action bar should dismiss on image opened.

What happens instead? 
  Action bar shows on top of image.
