Bisect Information: Per-Version bisect information: Good build: 54.0.2825.0 Bad build: 54.0.2826.0 Regression range: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/54.0.2825.0..54.0.2826.0?pretty=fuller&n=10000 Steps to reproduce: (1)Launch OEM mail,sign in with valid credentials and tap on compose (2)Launch easy urdu keyboard,tap on spacebar (3)Observe Actual result: Trace of line is seen under the cursor after tapping on spacebar. Expected result: Trace of line should not be seen under the cursor after tapping on spacebar. Additional comments: This issue is also reproducible on playstore build 59.0.3071.92

I just installed easy urdu on a nexus phone, and typing multiple white spaces leaves a trail of ' - - - - - ' on Gmail email body and also on Google search app, which is a bit different from #0. Does Urdu heavily use dash/hyphen? Otherwise, the keyboard app needs to fix its white space behavior. In any case, my understanding is that the app might have been confused about delayed selection update. Then this is not a webview issue. Removing RVG in case easy urdu find this out. |
