GpuProcessHostUIShim: The GPU process exited normally. Everything is okay.

Seems to have started after a Windows 10 update about 9 months ago?

Seems your whole GPU has been blacklisted and we fell back to software rendering. Have you tried updating your graphics drivers?

Comment 6 by m3p...@gmail.com, Jun 29 2017

So far there aren't any upgrades available. What does "blacklisted" mean?
It means we think there's a bug with your graphics drivers and have fallen back into software mode. Do you know what GPU and driver version you have? Are you checking in Windows Update or from the manufacturer's site?

Intel HD 4000 driver. 12/21/15 Version 10.118.10 4358
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81499/Intel-HD-Graphics-4000 looks like there are much more recent versions available. Can you try installing the latest version?

Comment 10 by m3p...@gmail.com, Jun 29 2017

I installed the latest from Intel. I was on 58, and installed 63. Appears
to be working flawlessly! I'd have thought ASUS would have notified me of
the Intel drivers, but like you, I had to go to the intel site to get the
files. Thanks.
