"Autosnooze this alert" should allow custom snooze durations in order to be useful |
|||
Issue descriptionWhile perfbot health sheriffing, I found the grouping and snoozing to be very useful. However, because the cycle times are so long for the perf waterfall, the default autosnooze duration through "Linking and filing a bug" > "Autosnooze this alert" was almost never long enough, so I had to readdress a few of the same alerts. Is there any way to make this customizable? I know that it's possible via Linking/filing and snoozing the alert separately, but it'd be nice to be able to do this in fewer clicks.

Yes, I added that. I planned to eventually change default snooze times to be configurable per tree. (probably 1 day or so for Perf?) I think that would probably be a really simple way to make this better. Outside of that, adding a way to specify the autosnooze duration is probably a good idea too.

Thanks! My feeling is that both would be useful, but configurable default snooze times per tree would probably be less useful to me than the configurable autosnooze.

This should be fixed in the next release. (Tomorrow) Also, Bugdroid seems to have missed the CL for this: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/549081/

Thanks Tiffany! Looking forward to using this next sheriffing shift. |
