When I use Chrome regularly, it uses 70-99% of my CPU and sometimes 1GB of my RAM, I have a AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.0GHz CPU and 8GB 9f RAM

@bobastefa-- Could you please provide us the extensions that are used in your browser and provide us the screenshots of the tabs wherever the memory consumed is high , that would help us in triaging the issue better. Thanks!

My CPU is at 99% when I watch YouTube with their standard VP9 codec but when I use h264ify the CPU usage is not that high (around 80%-95%) but that's cause Chrome apparently doesn't support my hardware so it uses software rendering and you guys need to update the engine for people who have older PC so that they don't have that high usage of resources

Assigning to rdevlin.cronin@ for further triage since this involves extensions.

Chrome still uses a lot of PC resources after the update to version 63 with no h264ify extension |
