This looks to be specific to Doodle. Moved to b/62893242 internally.

Yup, confirmed: It's caused by some CSS served by the Doodle. Since there's probably nothing to be done about it on the Chrome side, closing this as WontFix.

Thanks for reporting though! A fix for the Doodle is already in progress on the internal bug.

Checked the issue with the above mentioned steps, the issue is not seen..
But another issue is seen .
Expected:No horizontal scrollbar should be seen
Actual: horizontal scrollbar is seen and on scrolling towards RHS , unwanted empty space is seen

NOTE: On adding any theme other than classic and GTK+, no horizontal scrollbar is seen .

Thanks for reporting! The initial issue was fixed already, but it turns out the fix introduced a new regression, the horizontal scrollbar.

We'll continue to track on the internal b/62893242, but I'll also re-open this one in the meantime.

Proper fix is now live! If you still see the scrollbar, try refreshing the page; it should go away.

Marking WontFix again, since no action was (or should be) taken in Chrome.
