What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Sign in to user >> Launch chrome and open https://www.shoppersstop.com/
(2)Select any product and click on the product image to Zoom
(3)After the product image is zoomed, try to close the page using 'X' button present on the top-right corner and Observe.

Actual:Close'X' button is not responding to close the Zoomed page.
Expected:When we click on Close 'X' button, the zoomed product page should close.

This is non-regression issue as same behavior is seen in M-56.

I'm able to repro. But is it a problem with Chrome really or the website itself? weidongg, can you please take a look?
I am able to repro this on Chrome OS only. But not sure whether it's the website's issue. Can it be repro in other websites?

dcheng@, not sure if it's related to Blink, would you mind triage and assign it to the right person?

Definitely can repro on ChromeOS but not on a Windows touch device. I tried figuring it out but there seems to be a lot of event handlers on the go.

Navid can you take a look to ensure this isn't an incompatibility with pointer events that they seem to use using sometimes.
