Issue descriptionChrome Version: 60.0.3112.40 (Official Build)6de35395b27b983b671c777caa9a273017e80d62-refs/branch-heads/3112@{#412} 32/64-bit. OS: Windows(7,8,8.1,10), Linux(14.04 LTS), Mac(10.11.6, 10.12.1, 10.12). What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://welcome page. 2. Right click on 'No thanks' link to open context menu. 3. Now, click on 'Open link in new tab' option and observed. On clicking 'Open link in new tab' option, unnecessary chrome://welcome page opened instead of NTP. On clicking 'Open link in new tab' option, NTP should get opened. Note: On clicking 'No thanks' link, it's navigate to NTP. This is a non-regression issue, seen from M-55 series. Kindly review the attached screen-cast for reference.

@ewald, is this really signin component?

No, this is related to the new Desktop first run page. +Rachel, can you help triage as part of desktop? Seems like a low priority issue (moving to P3) |
