Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. I'm not sure if I installed this extension before or not, but it appears in my chrome recently. 2. I have uninstalled this extension several times but it shows up again after some minutes or restart. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? The extension 'PDF Merge - PDF Files Merger' can't be removed from chrome. After being uninstalled, it always automatically reinstalls itself later. Might be it's a malware taking advantage of bugs. WebStore page: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pdf-merge-pdf-files-merge/ndolbcaghkmhjhgggldkgjibdilpbdbm Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 58.0.3029.110 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.12.5 Flash Version: I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I definitely think the chrome team should know about this. When I first noticed this situation several weeks ago there is no comment in the app store, while now there are many other people facing the same problem. I did some search but got nothing. Please let me know if there is any resource I should refer to. Thank you in advance.

Some updates: I uninstall this extension and uninstall my browser by drag Chrome for Application to Trash on Mac. After I re-install chrome this extension appears again. Then I uninstall the browser again as well as remove the cache folder Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome. Then this extension never shows up again.

Well, such happens when some malicious extension get installed in Chrome browser without users permission. Well, just simply removing the extension will not be a suitable solution to fix this issue. You will also need to reset your browser in order to delete all kinds of modification made by this malicious extension in your web browser. If still facing the same issue then try reinstallting your web browser. For more info visit : Fix Computer Guide |
