Blocked script execution in 'blah.com/user/submit' because the document's frame is sandboxed and the 'allow-scripts' permission is not set.

Reported by josephjo...@googlemail.com, Jun 20 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
multiple, any with forms, all sites are https.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. spend an amount of time using a webpage signing in and out.
2.Using multiple tabs at once for different purposes, unfortunately all needed.

What is the expected behavior?
Use the site normally, submitting forms, two examples are cisco phone interface, https://helpdesk.grandstream.com, jira.

What went wrong?
After a certain time, I cannot click through to any pages within the webpage. Everything in that tab (other tabs work, until some time later when they also break) just stops working, meaning I have to either eradicate my history for all time, or restart chrome. Neither of which is desirable behaviour really. It does seem to be at random intervals, sometimes going to chrome://net-internals and clearing cache will work after removing all cache and cookie data.

I use chrome because it's the best to test webpages in, but this issue isn't anything to do with testing locally, never had this issue with my own projects.

Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 58.0.3029.110 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

I'm sad, I like chrome, but I'm going to have to switch soon as it's affecting the workflow.

Hi, thanks for filing.

When you say "everything in that tab just stops working" do you mean the tab is frozen? i.e. can you select text, scroll around, etc? Or is it not working in another way? A screencast might be helpful if its hard to describe.

Next time this happens, would you mind capturing a trace? When the tab stops working, start up tracing from a new tab, go back to the frozen tab and perform whatever actions aren't working. Follow the instructions here on how to capture a trace: https://www.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/trace-event-profiling-tool/recording-tracing-runs

I'm going to put this in Blink>Input for now until we can get a better diagnosis.

Ping, we're still waiting to hear back. Unfortunately, without more information/data we'll have to close this issue as we're unable to proceed.
Yeah sorry I haven't experienced it free clearing caches and erasing histories. So I'll update when I can, but if the report get closed then so be it :)

We can keep using this bug, but it's still not clear what exactly stops working. Does the tab completely freeze? Can you still scroll, select text, etc? Than you for attaching those logs, but as mentioned in #1, a trace would be most useful (trace: https://www.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/trace-event-profiling-tool/recording-tracing-runs)

The console logs are showing an issue that would be inherent to the app/page itself. It seems like a pretty obvious problem so I suspect there's something else going on, my guess is an extension you have might be getting in the way? Could you try turning off extensions and see if that helps? Altenatively, try running in incognito (by defualt extensions shouldn't run in incognito) and see if that works/if the console logs go away.
