Yes, this is another unfortunate side effect of the high commit error rates and related issues with the new localstorage implementation on windows. I believe with the latest canary (61.0.3133) things should be better, but I don't really have data yet to confirm that suspicion. Either way it is still likely that the vast majority of windows canary and/or dev channel users lost all the localstorage for sites they visited while in this state. Unfortunately it took longer that I expected to detect this issue and figure out what was causing it. |
