Add builders to run layout tests on new versions of Android. |
|||
Issue description(I think this is something we've known we wanted to do for some time, but it looks like there was no existing issue for it.) Currently, our continuous builder for running layout tests on Android is "WebKit Android (Nexus 4)", and our try bot is android_blink_rel. The android "port" in webkitpy/layout_tests/ports/android.py has one supported version. We want to run the layout tests on new versions of Android (L+). I think that this will involve adding a new "android port" (so we can store new baselines along with old baselinse), as well as and adding new builders.

Makes sense. Anyway, according to issue 567947, there is still a remaining problem to be solved before running layout tests on L+: loading custom font files.

This is a P2 but nobody is assigned to work on it. dpranke@, is that OK for issues under Blink>Infra? Per comments it sounds like this should probably be closed as a dupe of issue 567947?

I don't have a strong leaning on whether things can be P2 + unassigned or not, but they probably shouldn't stay that way for 6+ months, agreed :).
