Automated tests for the below commit have been missing.Would it be possible to add test coverage to avoid regressions in future?

Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
We don't think tests that assert the size of UI controls would be particularly relevant/useful. Also, this CL is working around what we think is a bug in views/ with a combination of experimental flags.

For those reasons, no tests will be added for this particular patch. Note that the code involved around this fix is already tested.
